I sadly lost my job last week, however I was working for the same Heating & Air Conditioning company for 10 years.
I expected to toil for the owner of the Heating & Air Conditioning company until I was seasoned with grey hair.
I really did not expect to find out that the woman was selling the business to transfer to another country. I did not know I would find out through the grapevine either, but that’s how awful news tends to travel around this town! My 15 year seasoned sibling was pregnant for all of five minutes before everyone in town knew she was expecting. I shouldn’t have been surprised to find out about the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation, although I was totally shocked. I was at the grocery store shopping for some pantry essentials that care about bread, milk, butter, & eggs. I was browsing some tasty fruit when my friend Sara came over to provide myself and others a hug. I had not seen Sara in at least 3 weeks so I was glad to see my friend, but the first thing she said was that she was sorry to hear about my task. I was confused by her bizarre statement, so I asked for further detail. That’s when I found out that I was losing my task; Sara told myself and others that she was working at the bank on the weekend when the boss came in to empty her business account. Sara thought it was strange, so she asked the woman if she was leaving town, and she told her that she was moving to a different country & getting out of the states. The woman offered no other explanation. My friend assumed that I already knew about the business closing, but that’s how I found out that I lost my job.
