The bathroom heater works great

My wife and I have been camping for a few weeks.

We are slowly making our way across the country and we hope to hit the west coast sometime before January.

We have had a lot of neat experiences so far like hiking the mountain trails and swimming in a hot spring. We also found fools gold in a river by our campsite. The adventure has had a few hiccups along the way. We spent a very cold three days in the mountains. We didn’t have a heater for the tent, so we had to bundle up in our sleeping bags and blankets. The only time we got warm was when we went to take a shower. The bathroom and showers were practically brand new. Inside the bathroom, they had two mini-split ductless heaters. One heater was by the toilets and the other heater was centrally located in the shower area. The heaters were always going during the day and the night. My wife and I tried to wait until late at night to take our shower, so we could be the only people in the bathroom. We’re still trying very hard to socially distance ourselves from others. Once inside the bathroom, we turned up the temperature on the heater and played some music on our phone. Those 30 minutes in the shower before bed became our ritual to get warm. We left the bathroom ready for sleep, wearing our warm pajamas and sweatshirts. Those few cold nights reminded us that we need to stay further south as we make our way across the middle of the country.
