My distant cousin reached out to me out of the blue and asked if she could stay with me for a short while.
Of course I said yes! That was 4 weeks ago and she is still here. I sincerely thought she was just passing through the neighborhood for a few days at the most. I really had no idea she had the desire to transfer in. I wouldn’t mind so much if she contributed to the chores a little bit. Oh, and helped cover a few of the bills. But no, she basically just sits on the couch all afternoon, doesn’t work, and doesn’t help in any way. I have hinted that it is time to transfer away many times however now I am going to insist on it. That is because she broke my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine. My a/c machine hasn’t been even working right for 4 weeks now, coincidence? I really don’t think so. Anyhow, the a/c machine finally stopped working so I called up a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer. They came out, cleaned out my ductwork, and were able to find a towel shoved down into the ductwork. The towel was incredibly close to the vent in my cousin’s room. When asked about it at first she denied knowing about it. Then she eventually admitted it was too frigid in her room so she put the towel there. Well that towel made my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine actually work too hard and now I have quite a few fancy repairs. Time for my cousin to transfer on. She does not care and she won’t cover the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repairs. Enough is enough, she has cost me enough money.
