I have dreamed of the perfect tropical vacation for quite a few years now.
My dream easily consists of strong drinks, white sandy beaches, a swim in the ocean, as well as a ton of relaxing. When my hubby surprised me with some tickets to the tropics I was ecstatic. Sadly, my dream vacation didn’t take into consideration the fact that even the tropics have their off times. It was frosty, windy, as well as rainy the whole time. Both of us spent most of our vacation in our hotel room or in one of the nearby bars. So at least we still got the strong drinks however that was basically it. However, the day before we were scheduled to depart it finally quit raining as well as I made the choice that I was going to go for that swim. It was still legitimately frigid out but I put on my bikini as well as ran down the white sandy beach to the water. I then leaped in as well as splashed around for a bit before running back into our hotel room as well as warming up in front of the heating appliance. My teeth were chattering as well as I wasn’t able to stop shaking however at least I could say I had swam in the tropics. I ended up falling asleep, still in my bikini, on the floor in front of the heating appliance in our hotel room. I actually had a dream that I was on a chair out in the sunshine. I wish. Instead of the sun I had a heater. Instead of sand I had a hardwood floor. I suppose we will just have to take this trip again in the future someday. Hopefully when it is completely warmer.
