I feel that newspapers are slowly becoming a thing of the past, however I have to say that I still appreciate the smell and the feel of great outdated fashioned newsprint in our hands from time to time.
Today, on a whim, I picked up a newspaper when I went out to get Starbucks Coffee and it just happened to have an ad in it that was exactly what I needed to see today! See, I have an oil gas furnace in our condo and it’s legitimately way past time when I need to have the gas furnace tested and worked on, but wintertide weather is suddenly approaching and it gets legitimately frosty around here while in the winter.
I saw that there was a local, family owned heating and cooling business that was running an ad in the paper for their heating preventative service special. That legitimately caught our eye because it was something I’d been looking for myself for our oil gas furnace. Well, this Heating and A/C business was offering to clean the burners and pilot light, check the gas valve, check the heat exchanger and the gas furnace controls, and adjust the burner, pilot, and blower belt all for $67, plus, I would be getting another more than nine percent off of that special price as a senior citizen. I thought that sounded care about a good deal and so after I finished up with our coffee, I called them up and made an appointment to have them come and do the repair work on our gas gas furnace. I suppose you just never feel what you’re going to find in the newspaper.
