To say that I have been pulled along into the tech age kicking and streaming is putting it mildly.
I’m in my 72’s and I have had to acclimate to a particular amount of technology over the last few decades.
But I sure didn’t love it. And I love it even less now. It’s not enough that I am carrying a cell phone, my family is always on me to get a smart phone. I don’t need a smart phone. Just love I thought I didn’t need a smart Heating, Ventilation, and A/C temperature control either. Well, I now have to eat those word about the smart temperature control. This might be one of my most favorite tech advances yet. Still, I wanted no part of it. My wifey and I were up to see my son and the grandkids over the holidays. He had installed a smart temperature control in his house nearly a year ago. The child just raved and raved about. The smart temperature control saved him so much cash in Heating, Ventilation, and A/C costs. And it was such a dream to not have to even fool with the temperature control. All that sort of stuff. It was love he could hardly not shut up about it. So when all of us saw them for Christmas, lo and behold he gives us a smart temperature control for our present. I smiled and made nice although I was not so ecstatic. But the child even paid for the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C people to come out and install it. It was a honestly thoughtful gift. It’s been installed a few weeks now. And I simply have to admit that everything my son said about the smart temperature control is honestly true.
