I am not actually good about remembering things, appointments consistently get lost in the shuffle with me! I frequently forget to change my car’s oil & I never seem to register products for their warranties! Things like that just slip my mind, but with chiller service, I was the worst! My supplier needs a chiller system operating at peak efficiency in order to do well, but once a year a worker should perform chiller repair to make sure there isn’t leakage, tube failure or corrosion.
The cooling towers mounted on the roof of the building need to be looked at too. The chiller is out of sight so it is not on the forefront of my brain. I consistently forgot to call & schedule repair on the chiller; You forget that enough times & the chiller no longer works. I noticed an increase in my energy bills because the chiller wasn’t operating well. I then noticed the chiller no longer operated. That was all on me. Thankfully I have the solution for my forgetful mind & my chiller system. I just do a chiller rental repair now. Yes, it is not as financially smart to rent over buy, then however, when I consider how often I am missing repairs & killing chillers systems, I bet I do save money. I just spend money a fee weekly & the chiller repairs & services are taken care of by the rental people. They supply me a courtesy call, but other than that they do everything. It is so nice being able to just call when I noticed the chiller isn’t as efficient.
