Radiant Heated flooring in our home

I always wanted radiant heated floors in our home, but after going to see our best buddy last year, she told myself and others that she had heated flooring installed in her home.

The benefits she described easily won myself and others over. Who wouldn’t want them? Once I moved to the same neighborhood she lives in, I decided to take the step in getting radiant heated floors since the two of us were going to be having all of the floros redone anyways. My flu symptoms have been given myself and others problems for years and no amount of medicine or whole-house air purifiers seem to help enough to give myself and others some relief. With less dust and allergens spreading through the air vents in our beach house through the ductwork from running a forced air system, I will be able to breathe cleaner and easier. What our best buddy told myself and others that won myself and others over was how energy efficient and quiet heated flooring actually was. There are no duct losses with heated flooring, unlike forced air heating, so it consumes less energy. Radiant furnaces are also certainly quiet. Since I am a light sleeper, I won’t be woken up from the cycling on and off of a forced air plan anymore, and not only will this type of heating plan help with our flu symptoms, but it will supply a less arid condition as well, everytime I would turn up the control unit when using a forced air heating system, the heating system would suck all the humidity out of our home and make our skin and sinuses dry. Sometimes I would even have nose bleeds and a sore throat. Luckily, with radiant heating, humidity levels will stay constant and at an appropriate level so both our beach house and our health conditions will be improved. There’s no doubt in our mind about making this decision to add radiant radiant heated floors.
