For years I have wanted a ductless mini split in our family room.
They say you can affix multiple indoor air handlers to 1 outdoor unit.
I wanted to have a component in the family room & in our upstairs dining room. I could have quality heating & cooling all year around. In our dining room it would be nice to have a powerful AC since I am going through menopause. In the family room I wanted great heating since the winters get so cold. I used to own a ventless gas furnace & it was terrible. It would frequently clog up with dust & require myself and others to use an air compressor to blow it out. I also felt care about that little unit was going to light the beach house on fire. I also felt the ventless gas furnace was blowing out more cold air than warm. The mini split was supposed to solve all our concerns. I did most things right. I bought a brand current ductless mini split & I found a Heating and Air Conditioning supplier willing to install it. The guy didn’t want to go through his Heating and Air Conditioning dealer though. He said if I hired him on the side, he would supply myself and others a deal. That should have been a yellow flag, then well I did it & the guy installed it in the wrong spot & it doesn’t work! I suppose it was his fault… Suddenly I can’t get a hold of this guy & the Heating and Air Conditioning dealer he works for fired him months ago. Now what do I do? I spent thoUSnds on a system that doesn’t work.
