I live in the deep south where summers are brutally hot, and i recently took a walk to go to the nearby grocery store plus I started getting covered in sweat the moment I stepped out of the door. I entered the grocery store quite sweaty plus very ready to get a few items plus get back home, however the a/c was so cool & crisp plus helped my body temperature regulate as I was shopping. This makes sense that grocery stores keep their a/c cool for a variety of reasons, to prevent any food from spoiling plus buyers from getting warm. I walked by the frozen section plus the very chilly air coming from the freezers plus the central a/c in the store felt great. I bought a few items that I needed plus walked back outside into the sweltering heat. I started covered in sweat once again, but told myself it will be okay because I’ll be going right back into my air conditioned apartment. I went into my home plus it felt strangely warm. I thought about how different this was since my air conditioner normally works very well. I walked over to check the temperature control plus it was set to seventy two degrees, but it felt like it was closer to 90 degrees in my apartment. I called up my fiance plus she told me to turn temperature control off completely for now, sit inside our home office (it has blackout curtains that keep the sunshine out) plus she will grab an air filter on her way home. I hope decreasing the filter will labor because I cannot function in this heat without the proper a/c.
