The people I was with and I faced a easily awful storm recently. I briefly checked around the lake house afterwards for any dire destruction to our home, although I didn’t notice anything. There seemed to be no complications with the siding or the roof and I thought all of us would be okay. Unfortunately, the power was out and the power company was working around the clock to get the power restored to our area. In the meantime, all of us had to suffer without any a/c, although I figured things could have been much worse. Well, when the power was eventually restored, I was happy to turn the cooling program back on. When I went to crank it on though, nothing happened! I checked the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C device inside and it seemed to be alright. Then I went to the air conditioner condenser device to see if there were any complications there. I don’t think how I didn’t notice it before, but there was a rather giant area of a tree branch jammed into the air conditioner condenser unit. I figured since the wind was so powerful, it must have snapped off one of the nearby trees and crashed into the air conditioner condenser unit. I didn’t want to cause more destruction than what was necessary, so I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals to take care of the issue. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional who came out took pictures and said that was crazy what happened. Unfortunately, he said there was no saving that air conditioner condenser unit, so I had to buy a new one. It was a lot of money, although I covered the cost so that all of us could have air conditioner in our lake house again!
