Fortunately, we keep a window A/C unit hooked up in the kitchen, so we cranked that thing up and washed our strawberries
We decided to grow strawberries this year. We tilled the land and got everything started and those patches of strawberries have been doing awesome. We even set up an irrigation system so it’s easy to water everything exactly as needed. Well, when many of the strawberries were large and ready for picking, we were facing some pretty scorching hot days. We all went out there as a family to pick strawberries, but all the youngsters were complaining about the severe heat. I assured everybody that we would be back inside the house soon so that we could wash the strawberries and enjoy them with the comfort of the A/C system. I honestly had no idea what we would be dealing with after we were finished. We basically all dashed back to the house anticipating that frosty air from the HVAC vents. Well, surprisingly it was overheated inside of the house as the A/C system was not even working. I went to work the thermostat to get the A/C to turn on, but nothing I did worked. I ended up having to call the HVAC company to have a professional come out. Fortunately, we keep a window A/C unit hooked up in the kitchen, so we cranked that thing up and washed our strawberries. I did tell everybody we would enjoy our strawberries with the comfortable air conditioning, and so we did, but it was still a little bit overheated. Fortunately, the HVAC professional arrived later that day and had the central A/C working again in no time.
