I think I’ve lived in about 50 different homes all around the world.
I’ve lived in large houses, small apartments, tents, and even in a sleeping bag on the beach a few times.
I’m not too keen on sleeping outside as the mosquitos can be quite annoying at times and take away from a good night of sleep. I have enough trouble just sleeping in a comfortable bed in a quiet house, sleeping outside is not an option anymore. I like where I live now although it’s a bit expensive for me on my own. I may get a flatmate. Anyways, our electric hot water heater has been costing us a lot of money as we like to take hot baths a few times a week. I need to jump in a hot bath for about 15 minutes after my cold water swim each morning too. So we decided to buy a propane boiler to heat our water and it really saved us a chunk of money. I didn’t realize how expensive the electric water heater was until we changed over to the propane one. I guess propane gas is much more energy efficient than electric so maybe we should consider using it for other appliances in our house. I wonder if installing a propane heater to heat the whole house is a good idea for saving money. I think I will do some investigating online to see what the best option is. I could always phone my friend the HVAC specialist and pick his brain one day about this.
