This is a quote I noticed in the washroom in a cafe where I used to do open mics back around 13 years ago. It made me rethink my goals in life plus switch from chasing the American Dream to pursuing the arts just for the enjoyment of it. Ever since making my way to this field, life has taken me on some crazy rides across the globe. I’ve done comedy in numerous countries plus experienced a fair amount of things I wouldn’t have if I just chose to stay in my engineering job. I suppose life is about experiences plus connections plus I’m going for everything. But when it comes to heating repair work, I do not suppose I want to experience any of the headaches of doing it completely myself. There are a tremendous amount of people who honestly know way more than I do about repairing these complex systems plus it gives me more time to focus on the things that easily matter, just like the pursuit of a passionate career. I can’t easily imagine being a heating plus cooling worker when what I totally love doing is performing on stage. I was a painting contractor roughly 20 years ago before getting into comedy plus I was so unhappy because I knew there was far more to life than what I was doing. You have to be able to get into something that energizes you plus for some it may be repairing gas furnaces plus cooling systems, which is fine. Just listen to your heart plus let it guide you in the appropriate direction which will make you the happiest. If your dream is to own a heating appliance dealership then go for it!
