When my daughter first told myself and others that she wanted to get this tree frog as a pet, I had no idea that it was going to be so hard to get the habitat set up officially.
I had no idea that frogs need just the right amount of humidity and the proper kind of heating plan in order to survive and thrive in a captive environment.
It has been genuinely hard trying to get everything set up just right. You have to have the temperature settings exactly right for these frogs, or they will just die for no wonderful reason. When the people I was with and I first started talking about getting the frog, she was on the Internet all the time trying to figure out the right heating plan and cooling plan for this frog! She did all kinds of research for it, and she’s the a single who figured out that the people I was with and I had to get a special heating pad for the frog and the special lights that he would need. I was surprised at how costly all of these things were! I made her earn her own money in order to pay for most of this stuff, however I told her that I would take care of the thermostat that she needed for the cage and for the heating unit itself. Now, I’m starting to rethink my stance. Everything keeps getting more and more costly, and all of the stuff that the people I was with and I need for the frog is way more costly than the frog itself! I’m starting to worry about it and the people I was with and I don’t even have it once the people I was with and I buy all this stuff, what happens if the frog dies on us? The two of us will have a whole lot of money invested in all of this heating and cooling unit for this little tree frog.
