I keep all of our plastic bowls plus lids under the sink in the cottageet. Once a year I go through the containers plus throw away everything that is broken or missing a lid! Last month I spent 2 hours getting rid of everything in the bottom of the cupboard, then I didn’t plan on getting rid of everything, although I found a major leak under the sink plus everything was wet plus moldy. I didn’t want to clean everything, so I decided to simply throw away all of the items… After I cleaned the area, I turned off the water so I could also attempt to find the plumbing leak. I checked all of the pipes that lead from the sink to the floor. I found numerous wet areas on the pipes, although I could not actually pinpoint the place where the leak was actually coming from. I turned on the water in the sink plus a couple of weird places started leaking, and that’s when I realized that their task was too big for myself and others to handle on our own. I put everything back under the sink plus I contacted a nearby plumbing dealer. I have a number one plumbing contractor that I have used in the past. I contacted the supplier and I told the lady on the phone about the problem with our sink, and she helped myself and others make an appointment for the following afternoon. A plumbing contractor came to the house around 9 am; He turned off all of the water to the house plus took the entire sink plus plumbing completely apart. He updated all of the pipes with brand new PVC. The service was on the high-priced side, although I won’t ever have to worry about replacing those pipes again.
