The neighborhood cops almost towed my work truck

Yesterday after work, I decided to go to my girlfriend’s house.

I left work and went right to her place.

I still had my HVAC repair truck. I was only a couple of blocks away from my girlfriend’s place when I finished my last job. It didn’t make any sense to go all the way back home to grab my car. I decided to spend the night with my girlfriend. I left my HVAC repair truck parked outside on the street by her house. There is no rule or law that says you can’t park on the street, but someone called the tow truck company to have my work truck towed. The neighborhood watch person believed that the truck had been left by someone earlier that day. They never even bothered to ask people if the truck belonged to them. I woke up to the sound of a loud beat and it was a tow truck driver about to pick up my work truck. The guy already had the bar under the back tires of the HVAC truck. He wasn’t going to take it off of the truck either, until I got really angry. I explained to the guy that I worked for the HVAC company and I was visiting with my girlfriend. I called the tow truck company because there weren’t any signs saying I couldn’t park on the street. If he towed my vehicle, he was a thief. The tow truck driver stopped what he was doing and made a phone call. A couple of minutes later, he put the work truck down on the ground and left.
