Loving the new geo heat pump thanks to the right HVAC contractor

When we decided to sell the house, it was not an easy thing to consider.

I’m not exactly super sentimental but the thought of selling the home where we raised our kids was really tough for me.

Yet just the heating and cooling costs alone were outrageous for just two people. And it’s not that we lean into the thermostat or anything like that. It’s simply the fact that the house is big. I struggled mightily with the idea and so did my wife. However, it was the HVAC unit that ultimately was the tipping point. After 27 years, our HVAC unit was finally at the end. The HVAC technician was the one to tell us as he was out doing the heating maintenance. So we upgraded the HVAC equipment with the latest in residential HVAC. This was per the realtor who is a trusted family friend. If she said do it, there was a reason. The house sold quickly and for a sum that was sort of shocking. The amount of money allowed us to build the house we wanted to build. It’s just been completed and we love it. It’s small with just two bedrooms, a home office and a great big kitchen. But we also wanted to go with the most sustainability that we could. After a couple of months of interviewing HVAC professionals, we finally found the HVAC contractor who could put in the geothermal heat pump. This HVAC professional was the regional expert in this type of HVAC equipment. And it sure shows because we now have the best quality heating and air we’ve ever experienced.
