For various years, I rented apartments in the city, but this was the only form of housing I could afford in that stressed & high-priced locale.
These apartments weren’t the best & I would have to share with strange roommates! When Covid hit, it was a disturbing time for all of us, i was let go from our job & for a moment was in full panic… However, I calmed down & began looking for remote work to do from home. This led to the discovery of virtual assistants. There are various platforms where I could find work, & I had the right qualifications for the job, then last year, I opted to buy a house in a city far away from the neighborhood since I now work remotely full time. I had been saving before the pandemic, however houses in the neighborhood are too high-priced! Now, I am a homeowner & know so glad with the choices I made! After moving in, I had to handle an issue with the cooling idea in the house. The previous owner said it was wonderful to go for multiple more years. However, an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C inspection stated it would only last about 2 summers. I managed to negotiate a better price for the house & had money left over to install a modern AC. The same company that did the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C inspection did the upgrade & I found the modern A/C to be amazing. This is an energy efficient cooling idea that leaves our house feeling cool & refreshing while in those long & sizzling summer time months.
