Every single year, our partner Rob figures out what I got him for his birthday before I provide it to him.
He guesses what it is every single time and it drives me crazy; Just once, I want to really and truly surprise him with a gift that he enjoys and doesn’t expect at all! And this year, I guess it’s finally going to be the year that I’m able to do it. This year, I’m not doing any of the normal things adore clothes, up-to-date running shoes, or electronic devices. Nope, this year, I’m buying Rob something that he will never suspect in a million years. I’m getting a up-to-date programmable smart control component system for our house, and we’ve always had the old kind of control unit, since that’s what was installed when both of us moved into our house, however both of us never got around to installing a up-to-date one, since the old one worked okay. But I did a lot of research about digital programmable control units and from what I’ve found out, they can really be great for helping to lower your heating and cooling bills. And if there’s one thing that our partner likes, it’s saving cash on the gas furnace and air conditioning bills! I guess that once both of us get the control component installed, Rob will really care about having the app that allows him to adjust the temperature on the control component from wherever he is. And I believe he’ll adore the reduced heating and cooling bills once he gets the hang of changing the control unit. I’m excited to provide Rob his birthday gift this year!
