I constantly love going to our local thrift shop… You never actually think what you are going to find there, or what kind of deals you can discover on old used things, however i once got a bunch of heating and a/c products at a thrift shop! And would you think that they all worked nice as new? I mean, these things were dirt cheap compared to retail value! For instance, I got a space heating system for 10 bucks! Yes, that’s right, a 68 dollar value for 10 bucks! And it works perfect, then this space heating system has been heating our study room for the last year with no concerns what so ever as if I purchased it brand up-to-date at a hardware store or something! I also managed to buy a portable a/c unit there for 50 bucks.
That in itself is a numerous to several hundred dollar value! And again, love the space heater, the portable a/c idea worked just as nice as if I purchased it brand up-to-date from the store, then some afternoon, these thrift shops are going to catch on to what they’re doing.
I hope that doesn’t happen, but eventually, there will be someone that actually knows what they are doing, and these gems will not be so cheap. It is obvious they didn’t test the space heating system or the portable a/c unit. Because if they did, they would have not priced these things so low, and until someone wises up, I will visit the thrift shops every weekend and see what else I can find!
