I couldn’t help but take the time off of work the other day, to watch the HVAC company technicians clean the HVAC ductwork at our office building.
I couldn’t figure out what was going on when I first got to the office.
There must have been a dozen HVAC technicians inside and outside the buildings. They had all of the air vents torn apart and there were messes everywhere. I tried to tell the boss that we shouldn’t be in the building when the HVAC techs were working on the ductwork. I even told him that some of the problems that made it necessary to get the ductwork cleaned, could get into the air and cause some really bad toxins to get into the breathing air. The air quality was already bad or we would not have needed to have the ductwork cleaned. My boss didn’t share my feelings and he told me that I needed to get back to work. I told him that I was already feeling sick and he told me to get out of his office. I headed out to watch the HvAC technician clean the ductwork and to ask a lot of questions. The only thing better than watching the HVAC technician is if I could have my boys here to watch them with me. It was a great day and they would have made it even better. At least now, I know the air quality is going to be better. I just hope that when I get home, I won’t have a message from the boss telling me that I don’t have a job.
