I don’t think I want to live in the northeast any longer

My life has changed a lot since we moved here to the Northeast… We came from the West where the two of us would be good with just using heat pumps.

These afternoons, we have to deal with lengthy winter seasons that are entirely too cold; however, both of us get tons of snow and it entirely seems as if we are never able to catch a lull from it all.

Both of us have to officially have the fireplace checked out and cleaned. Both of us also have to make sure the gas furnace is typically tuned up and ready to go for another lengthy winter season. It has been taxing and we are absolutely weird to most of the people in these parts. Still, it has been growing on me. The only time I entirely suppose that I appreciate myself is when I go back to visit family and friends from where I come from. It’s unusual because our current home is starting to seem a little more foreign to me every year, especially since I don’t get along with these people as well as the people from our old home. Even though we have loved our experience with living in the Northeast, we are thinking about going back home. We would love to just be able to depend on a heat pump once again and not have to worry about shoveling and snow blowing all the time. We do miss our old way of life absolutely much and we wish we could see our old friends and family more often. We’re truly working on saving enough money to get ready to transport ourselves back to the West.
