Updating our boiler system section by section

Eventually I am going to have a new boiler system.

I am just toiling piece by piece, and every Wintertide a portion of our boiler system rusts, corrodes and it bursts, but water then floods our basement for days before I notice, then I have to call a Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation to do the boiler service and I have to rent a sump pump to remove the water in the basement.

It is an endless cycle every winter, and usually it is a piece of piping that breaks due to just being old. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation removes the outdated piece and updates it with brand new metal, my boiler sort of reminds myself and others of Edward Scissorhands. Certain parts of it look brand new and great, however other parts are downright scary. It is a patchtoil of outdated and new parts. I keep thinking that eventually the entire boiler will basically be new. I like our heating system and want it to keep going. I constantly favor making the furnace service over ripping it out with something new, however boilers are said to live 50 to 74 years outdated if you have the updatement parts! As long as our Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional has the parts, I want them. I keep trying to bullying him into redoing the whole boiler system with all new parts. The guy refuses to do that unless the furnace section is entirely rusted, broken or worn… He absolutely realizes I am trying to just get a brand new boiler system, however have it slowly rebuilt over time. I bet it is cheaper than buying a new 1.
