When I bought this portable air conditioner, I thought that it would be very cool. I couldn’t afford a central air conditioner, so I knew that I was going to have to purchase a more affordable air conditioner for my house until I was able to save up enough money for a central air conditioner. I went to the store planning to purchase a few window air conditioners, but when I got to the store, I saw that they also had a portable air conditioner for sale too. The portable air conditioner was twice the price of a window air conditioner, but since the portable air conditioner had wheels, I would be able to wheel it around the house to whatever room I was planning on using next. In my mind, I debated whether or not I should just purchase the portable air conditioner. Finally, I decided that the convenience of wheels would make it nice. However, I learned very quickly that the portable air conditioner was not nearly as convenient as I thought that it would be. First of all, the portable air conditioner took up a lot of floor space in my house, and it never looked nice on the floor. The air conditioner was louder than a window air conditioner, and even though it had wheels, it wasn’t practical to move around often. It took a long time to cool the room down, and by the time that I got the portable air conditioner re-installed in a new room, I would end up having to leave anyway. I wish that I would have just purchased window air conditioners, but now I have to wait for the central air conditioner.
