For me, appointments that I make are forever falling through the cracks.
It seems to be happening far more than it ever should.
We have tried to have a giant note board so all events and appointments are clearly displayed. That didn’t really work at all. I tended to use it more to doodle notes to the kids. That was clearly not the reason for the note board or so my wife quite intensely pointed out. Message received. But, that was the same day that I forgot the HVAC service appointment. So, I don’t think she was all that pleased with me that day. But still, the appointments just continued to drop like flies. But that was a big one. We really aim to get our HVAC serviced about every six months if we’re able. We live in a region where the A/C runs for nearly 6 months straight. I like to have the heat pump looked at after the heavy load of summer. It’s a good time too because the weather still hasn’t gotten too cool so we have to switch to heat. I also have the HVAC technician come out in the late spring just to be sure that the HVAC is up to the summer task. But, due to my negligence with missing appointments, we’re lucky if the HVAC gets looked at once per year. That’s just not going to cut is. So, I called up the HVAC company and got on their automatic list. They have a key, they set the appointment and all I have to do is confirm online.
