I now see where they were coming from

I have been watching these online videos lately about moving to another country; The reason I keep looking at them is because I am sick and tired of going to work every day, although I guess that I will never be able to cut back on working as long as I live in this country! I have 13 years before I can get social security, and I just dread the thought of being chained to a forty-hour work week for 13 more years.

I l gained the other day that in this a single place I am considering, there is the opening to pay for your utilities for a whole year at the start of the year.

This is enjoyable because if you do that, you get your electricity at about half the rate pretty much everyone else does. That means you can run the cooling system! Utilities are severely fancy in this little city, so almost no local people use the a/c. In fact, several homes do not even have an cooling system. The only cooling systems are found in homes and hotels and restaurants that cater to tourists and expatriates… Generally, even then, there are no central a/cs; it is much more usual to find mini-cut a/c units in the living rooms. They are not as usual in this country, although the ductless a/c is gaining popularity, then when I was talking to our guide, he was flabbergasted to learn that I left our a/c on at our apartment while I was on trip, although I never even thought to turn the a/c off!
