I have been going for my certification to become a heating and air conditioning specialist.
This has been a major goal of mine since I graduated from high school.
However, I have to make a living at the same time and did not have time to go into deep schooling in the day. So I found some night school classes at the local college that were actually offering courses to get your HVAC certification! This was sheer luck as I never before had seen something like this. Yes, there are night classes for other things such as business management, etc. But never about heating and air conditioning certification. So I really got lucky here. I was able to still work my job and then go to school for my heating and air conditioning certification a few nights a week. Doing it this way was going to take a little more time to complete the courses unlike going to heating and air conditioning certification school in the day every weekday. However, this really worked for me. I should have my certification to become a heating and cooling specialist in about 4 months from now. And when I graduate, I will be right away looking for a job in the heat and a/c business to start my real career. Or, if all else fails, I may go to additional classes in business management and start my very own independent heating and air conditioning company. This could also work. It all depends on what is in the cards for me. Only time will tell, and I am looking forward to it!
