Insulation is the key

When you have uneven temperatures in your home, you may want to check out your insulation.

The insulation in your home can really make a difference in the performance of your central heating and air conditioning system.

There are several different types of heating and air conditioning systems obviously. And depending on the type of central heating and cooling unit you have, it can heat and cool your home with even not so great insulation. But if you insulate your home properly, you can pretty much use any brand of HVAC systems and it will do the job. In very rare cases, you may need to get a zoned HVAC system (also known as heating and air conditioning zone control). But this would be only if your home is built oddly. Usually though, so long as all the insulation and weather stripping in your home is perfect and in place, you should always be able to get the most perfect temperature control without question. My house had some bad insulation problems. It was in fact the point of my central heating and air conditioning system not working properly that tipped me off to it. But after I fixed everything, it was all good once again and I had the most perfect temperature control. So take my word for it. If you are having heating and cooling issues in terms of temperature in your home, check out your insulation before you run to the phone and call your local heating and cooling company to send out a certified heating and air conditioning specialist.
