Getting in better shape before beginning a new job

About three years ago, I was offered a job promotion that required me to move.

I was excited to move to the other side of the country and begin a whole new life.

I saw it as an opportunity to create new goals and become a better person overall. The company I work for allowed me eight weeks to get ready for the move. During those two months, I decided to get more physically fit. I hoped to make a great first impression when I arrived. I also knew that a happier and more successful future included healthy habits. I was determined to start eating better and exercising every day. To achieve my goals in such a brief amount of time, I needed help from a professional. I discovered a local wellness center where they provide personal training and nutritional counselling. I enrolled in the whole package. I consulted with a personal trainer who developed an intense fitness program to reach my weight loss goals and improve muscle tone very quickly. The workouts were exceptionally demanding and strenuous. The personal trainer continually pushed me to the point of failure, but I never gave. The nutritionist helped me to design a meal plan that provides a broad variety of vitamins, minerals and proteins. I’ve stopped eating fast foods, sugary snacks and drinking coffee. By the time I packed up my belongings plus drove across the country, I looked and felt like a whole new person. I began my new job feeling prepared and confident. Right away, I found a wellness center where I continue personal training and nutritional counselling. I’m so thrilled with the results.
