It doesn’t take long to get to a particular point in your life when you realize that nurses and nurses offices are quite chilly! I l received this quite a while ago and I regularly come prepared with an extra layer of clothing to keep sizzling whenever I have an appointment, then this has served myself and others well for many years, until our latest nurse appointment that is.
The last thing I expected when I came in from the hot parking lot was finding a nurse’s office that was nearly as hot! None of the staff nor the clients were recognizably cheerful about it either.
The air-conditioning mishap had happened just a few hours before, and while help was on the way, it would not arrive in time for myself and others to get any benefit from it. The entire time I would wait and the entire time of our appointment would leave me hot and hot. I took off our jacket and sulked in the heat, just enjoy all the people else. I heard that they kept nurse’s offices nice and chilly to keep germs at bay. I made sure I wasn’t kneeling near anyone that was recognizably sick-looking, separate from appearing to be rude of course, but on top of everything, the nurse kept myself and others waiting longer than she ever has for our appointment! I was literally quite hot and bothered by the time I was able to see him. I willed the check up to hurry up and get finished with so that I could retreat to the comfort of our air-conditioned car. I saw the Heating and Air Conditioning van pull up as I was leaving!
