The kids knocked the air conditioner out of the window

My wife and I have three boys that are filled with energy.

  • They wake up first thing in the morning ready to go.

They hate to spend time in the house, and we have all been forced to stay home for months and months. The kids want to be outside playing with their friends. It is hard to explain the virus without scaring the kids, but we want them to realize how dangerous it can be to go to public places. The kids have had a lot of energy lately and it has been raining outside. They haven’t been able to go in the backyard to play. My wife was working in the den on Tuesday and the kids were supposed to be working on school work. Instead, they were playing football in the living room. My wife heard a loud scream and a crashing sound and she ran to the living room. She found our oldest son on the floor and the air conditioner was laying on top of his arm. She acted fast and moved the air conditioner very quickly. My son’s arm was bruised, swollen, and a little scraped up, but he didn’t have to go to the hospital. The air conditioner was banged up on the bottom, but it still worked fine. The worst damage was the windowsill. When the kids were playing, the air conditioner got knocked out of the window. It tore the windowsill apart. When I got home from work, I had to repair the window before we could place the air conditioner back in its spot.
