Sporadically I can be a bit obtuse when it comes to our perspective.
I’m sort of set up to be the person who gets things done.
That sort of mind set kind of makes myself and others view things in our life with objectives in mind. But life isn’t consistently objectives or projects or deadlines. Life is also remembering that there are a lot of other people out there just trying to do their thing in order to live a life. I miss that at times. So much of our afternoon is so harried that all I want to do is come home & put our feet up in the Heating & A/C comfort of our home. Then, I do that & it’s right back at all the analytical & critical thinking. But there are times when life actually knocks you upside the head. That happened recently with an encounter I had with the Heating & A/C serviceman who services our heating & cooling system. He came to the door to let myself and others know that there was a bit of a complication with the Heating & A/C. It needed a area & a fairly minor repair. However in our mind, it was someone trying to make some cash so of course, I challenged him. And I did so in our overly direct & semi accUnited Statestory tone. Basically, I called him out. To this man’s other worldly credit, he was calm & professional. He went to his truck & came back with a packet containing lots & lots of certifications & licensures. I was so embarrassed. The Heating & A/C people are professionals & they are expertly trained in their field. No 1 should ever question whether they know what they are doing or not.
