I carry on a very unusual family tradition.
Well, not extremely bizarre however actually no longer traditional.
My Mom and Dad consistently did something nice for the people they depended on and were legitimately dependable; This meant the mailman and the guy that was in charge of carrying all of the groceries got a little extra something during the holiday season. My family has never been rich by any proper however they made sure to have extra for those folks when it got to be present buying time. What a beautiful thing to do. I carry on with that strange tradition to honor our parents sense of community. I’m adding the Heating and Air Conditioning tech to the list. I have had the same heating and air professional since we ended up moving into this house. This guy is consistently on time, organized and had a solid disposition. And this is during a service call when it’s 106 degrees and our household is without air conditioner. The person is awesome. He’s here at least twice a year for seasonal service and has never missed an appointment. The person is a well known Heating and Air Conditioning professional thanks to the fact that I hear the same thing from our neighbors. All of us are all so lucky to be in his zone of service I guess. Well, he’s dang sure going to get a card with a nice tip when he comes to do the pre-Wintertide service on the gas furnace. WE have never had to wait more than a minute or two for our Heating and Air Conditioning tech to get to us. And he consistently shows up with that smile and ready to get to work.
