Well, I wouldn’t say just nowadays because they were too busy for me 25 years ago also.
Ever since they turned about 30 years outdated they seem to have complicated their lives to the point where they have no more free time to just hang out & have fun.
My 1 neighbor said he only has 90 minutes a day for himself, the rest is taken up with toil & family obligations, so I haven’t seen him in many years now. I also moved overseas to find a simpler life so that separates us even more. Now my friends are young. I have 1 neighbor who is an HVAC specialist & the people I was with and I hang out on the beach occasionally & play a little volleyball. He doesn’t have kids or a spouse so he has a little more time than my friends back in the states. He was showing me the up-to-date heating units in the store & they look entirely cool & have amazing SEER ratings. I guess the secret for me is to just find younger people to hang out with, which also helps keep my point of view fresher by listening to their ideas & their open mindedness. I have a small portable space gas furnace which I think I may be selling soon because my central heat & air is really efficient & uses less power. Maybe I can put it on Wallapop, which is love Craig’s List over here, & get a few bucks for it. I saw several other heating units on there so people are buying them.
