I needed the air conditioner to deal with a painful sunburn of mine

I’ll never forget the first time I had a honestly painful sunburn as a kid. Unlike some people who get a little discomfort with their sunburns, I get terrible pain that is often referred to as “Devil’s Itch.” It happens to a small proportion of the population whenever they get a dire sunburn. For me, it usually only happens when I get a dire sunburn on my back, neck, shoulders, or chest. Luckily, burns on my forearms plus legs usually bear no pain whatsoever, so I must have a neurological sensitivity in the parts of the body that do hurt with sunburns. Whenever I am outside in the sunshine with exposed skin, I use sunscreen religiously. I have to buy SPF 50 or 75 if I want to prevent getting a painful sunburn. Lately I’ve been reckless plus have been going shirtless while laboring in my driveway in the afternoon hours. At first I didn’t get any burns, however that changed 1 day when I spent many hours exposed to peak sunshine on my back of all venues. No matter how much aloe I used, I couldn’t get the pain to subside. I had to take copious amounts of ibuprofen plus acetaminophen around the clock to get by without killing myself from the torment. Thankfully I have a cold a/c because I honestly needed it that day. I put my chair underneath an a/c vent plus laid on my stomach so the cold air would hit my back. The sunburn was excruciatingly painful, however at least I had the cold air conditioner to help with the pain. I couldn’t imagine dealing with sunburn care about that with too much heat inside as well on top of the pain felt in my skin.
