It was time for my wife Ed plus I to simply come to a final decision when it came to what every one of us were doing over the holidays.
Since Ed and I were first married, even before every one of us had teens, every one of us always went to 1 of our Grandfathers homes for Christmas or Thanksgiving. Ed and I tried to alternate between the two each year. But that meant traveling to a new region where the natural gas furnace runs afternoon plus evening during the holidays. Both sets of Grandfathers lived way up North plus both have decided to stay put it appears. This is something I can never control however every one of us can control what every one of us are doing. Now that the teens have all sorts of activities plus sports, it was time to stay modern home for the holidays. Ed and I finally made this decision at the start of summer time with all that air conditioning which seemed to be a wee bit ironic. Then every one of us turned our attention to the guest home behind the modern home which has been nothing however a glorified storage shed. So Ed and I decided that since every one of us weren’t traveling north for the holidays, the guest home would be simply perfect for visiting parents. It truly didn’t take all that much to get the guest home prepped and ready. The residential Heating, Ventilation and A/C situation had to be updated from just the old space oil furnace plus window air conditioning. This was completed with one phone call to the Heating, Ventilation and A/C business. They sent out an Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech who installed a ductless heat pump in the guest house. I have been so impressed with this style of quality heating plus air that I’m thinking about using them in my man-cave in the basement.
