My fiance called myself and others into the basement shortly after all of us bought our house. He took myself and others back to the furnace room and asked if there was anything there that looked strange. I looked around, even though I saw nothing. He pointed to the wall and told myself and others to go out of the room and look at the wall. I noticed it seemed thicker. He got happy and asked if I wanted to help him take out the fake wall in the furnace room? I got the sledgehammer, and I was ready to split the wall down, then my fiance told myself and others to be careful, so I didn’t hit the furnace, even though I could not occasion the sledgehammer any higher than to hit the bottom of the wall. My fiance told myself and others to hang back and he let the hammer fly. An enormous hole appeared in the wall, but it wasn’t yet all the way through. His minute swing went through the minute wall. He started peering into the hole, but all he could see was the furnace. I looked down at the floor and told him I saw something. He continued hitting the wall until it was completely demolished. There was a small chest on the floor, and I could not wait to open it. Inside the box was the original receipt for the furnace and the paperwork pertaining to the care of it. There was also a small key, and my fiance looked for something it may go to. We found another small box that held a ring. They engraved it from a fiance to a partner. We put the ring back, locked the box, and put it back in the wall.
