Growing up in a farmproperty that did not have central a/c was tough. Thankfully, I was a kid who entirely didn’t know any better. I entirely thought that a/c was only for rich people! In reality, my pal and I were entirely doing pretty well for ourselves on the farm, and my parents entirely could have afforded a/c if they wanted it, however, they were and still are the rustic type and the parsimonious type, so I didn’t get a/c throughout my childhood. In the summer, I entirely noticed the heat, but windows would be up in the night, which gave some relief. To this afternoon, I like to do it every now and then to hear the siren song of the crickets chirping and the owls hooting to put me to sleep, another way I beat the heat as a youngster was staying hydrated. As cheap as my parents were when it came to weather conditions control, my pal and I never lacked for ice frigid water, tea, or lemonade! I also really appreciated ice frigid showers in the afternoons after a afternoon of romping around outside in the dust! You might think that I was just as inclined as my parents were when I grew up to eschew central heating and a/c. In making that assumption, you would most entirely be incorrect! I easily appreciate the cooling system, and I feel spoiled by it in my adult years. I take great care of my cooling system as well, because I consider it a luxury that has worth taking care of!
