You may think it’s crazy, however growing up, cooling system was a luxury to me and my family.
My associate and I had window cooling system units in a couple of rooms, however my pal and I rarely used them to conserve electricity and currency.
My associate and I often had to rely on simply opening windows and doors. My associate and I also had a few fans around the house, including ceiling fans. However, on some afternoons this simply wasn’t enough to keep cool and you could only shed so much clothing before you start walking around naked! So, sometimes to beat the heat, my pal and I would go to locales around neighborhood that my pal and I knew had cooling systems. There was a Dunkin Donuts Latte shop and a couple restaurants that my pal and I liked. However, our number one locale to go to cool down was a local shopping mall that was really big and really well air conditioned. Although my pal and I did a lot of shopping in the numerous stores in the mall, to be honest, my pal and I would often go there and window shop and just spend as much time as possible in the a/c. Believe it or not, spending a afternoon at the mall and spending the currency on gas or a taxi fare to go to the mall ultimately ended up costing less currency than running the cooling system for that entire afternoon! Now that I live in a property that has central heating and a/c and I can afford the electricity bill every month, I am really grateful for it and never take it for granted.
