My friends and I went to the opening of the new comic book movie at the theater.
They had a midnight showing on Thursday and I was very tired by the time we got home.
The movie was almost 3 hours long and then my friends wanted to go to the diner to get bacon and pancakes. To be honest, I should have gone home instead of going to the diner. I wasn’t very hungry and I was already tired. I would have been able to catch the problem with my AC unit a few hours earlier. When I finally got home at 4:30 in the morning, the AC unit was off and I had to contact an emergency repair service. I have animals in my house and they can’t stay in the house all day long while I am at work if there isn’t any air conditioning. It’s 95° outside during the day. It was 86 when I got home at 4:30 in the morning and the dogs were panting and they looked like they were hot. I gave them some cold water and we went outside on the porch. It felt like it was cooler outside than it was inside of the house. I contacted an emergency repair service nearby. The repairman was thorough and efficient. He diagnosed the problem with the air conditioning system very quickly. It was not a big problem. One of the refrigerant hoses needed to be changed. It only took about an hour from start to finish, but I had no chance to sleep before I had to go to work the next day.
