My fiance and I love traveling to new destinations when we have time off work.
This has been something we do each year.
We met 5 years back, and have so many pictures of the many places we have visited. We go no matter the season, so we have pictures of trips in spring, summer, fall and winter. When the pandemic hit, we couldn’t go anywhere in 2020 and 2021. So, by 2022, we were itching to get on the road and go explore new places. We live on the east coast and planned to rent a camper van and drive to the west and back. The plan was to make this into a 2 week trip, and we both took time away from work. The camper van we got had an AC unit, so we were sure traveling in summer wouldn’t be an issue. We always make sure the camper van we rent has heating and cooling to stay comfortable. We also have several insulating pads that keep the heat or cool air inside when we need it. On top of that, we made sure to pack a portable AC for the trip. Look, we hoped that the camper van AC would work for the entire trip. However, past experience has taught us to always be prepared. Some time back we invested in portable heating and cooling units. We brought the portable AC with us just in case we needed it and the camper van AC was faulty. This was a special trip since we planned to tie the knot that coming winter and celebrate with family and friends.
