When it's time to replace your boiler

The chaos in our home is never-ending.

How could it be with a teenage son and the other two boys who are seven and nine years old? It feels like we are always repairing something around the house.

Lately, their dad has involved them in fixing things they have broken or anything that needs fixing. My eldest son had outgrown sharing a room with his two younger brothers, so we thought it best to move him to the room in the attic. Unfortunately, the central heater in our house did not service the attic since we hadn’t been using it for years so we would need new heating equipment. Recently, the boiler started breaking down more often, no matter how long boiler repair was done. We had to furnish and clean up the attic, which meant lots of finishing work. We had our work cut out for us. We brought in a heating contractor. The heating and cooling provider came to our house to assess the situation. After consulting with the HVAC technician, we went for an electric furnace and included a digital thermostat. During the heater installation, the HVAC repairman divided the house into zones to have a fully functional zone control system to help with indoor comfort and save energy. We were involved in the entire process to learn more about heating technology and take better care of the heating and cooling system. The new changes we would implement were furnace/heater tune-up twice rather than once a year. The other thing was changing the furnace filter on time.
