I must admit that being a parent of four kids isn’t a walk in the park.
For some time, my partner and I tried to do it all.
We’d work full time jobs then come home to clean, cook, and do homework. It worked well, but that wasn’t the truth. Slowly, our house began to look so horrible, and the pile of clothes was even higher. We worked so hard, and did overtime because there was a lot to handle. Eventually, we had to cave and hire a lady to clean for us. She is the loveliest woman on earth, and she even babysits the kids when we are late from work. During the first week, she cleaned our home from top to bottom, and now we look forward to going home in the evening to a relaxing place. Yesterday, Aisha was cleaning our home when she called me to say something was wrong with the cooling system. The kids are with their grandparents for summer, so she was the only one using the cooling system. Once Aisha got off the phone, I checked my calendar and noticed we’d missed spring maintenance. It’s crucial to have an HVAC technician do a check up and tune up for the cooling system during spring. That prepares you for summer when you need the cooling system the most. Well, I knew from experience we weren’t too late to contact the HVAC company and took care of that. They said someone would go to our home the following morning at 9 am, and I was happy since Aisha would be there to let them in.
