I live in a southern part of the country that has gotten very hot in the last few months.
- It is normally pretty warm where I live but it is now the summertime and I know that it’s only going to get worse from here.
Sometimes I think about moving somewhere that doesn’t have such intense summer weather, but I just love the fact that I don’t have to deal with the snow and sleet that some other areas of the country get during the winter. I can speak from experience that when I say that having your air conditioner break down in the middle of the summer is the worst thing that can happen. I had my air conditioner break down in the middle of one of the hottests summers my area has ever seen and since it was so hot outside many other people were having issues with their air conditioners as well. So it took the HVAC company about a week to have an available appointment to be able to come out to my house and fix my broken air conditioner. During that week I didn’t think that I was going to make it at some points. The house was so hot without the air conditioner because it was so hot outside. I told myself that I would never go into another summer season again without having the air conditioner serviced. I will never make that mistake again!
