I am currently in my senior year of high school.
In order to make a little bit of extra currency for school, I have decided to work as a lifeguard.
The town I live in is right on the beach in addition to my friend and I don’t really get a familiar winter season. It gets freezing for a couple of weeks in December however then it gets hot again. I love that my friend and I don’t get a winter season because I love being at the beach in addition to that is one of the reasons I thought it would be a good idea to start lifeguarding. I have a relaxing neighbor that helped me get the task in addition to I have really be enjoying it so far. It is starting to get hotter outside so lately my shifts have been a little more brutal. I have to remember to pack an extra water in addition to even have to go for a swim sporadically to cool off. My new number one thing to do is to run into the air conditioner in the main office. I have been sneaking into the main office for about an hour a afternoon lately just so I can feel the freezing air condition on my skin. I really wish they would put a portable air conditioner unit in the lifeguard tower, however I don’t thing that is going to happen anytime soon. So, for now I am just going to have to sneak into the air conditioner for ten minutes at a time in addition to pray that no one ever finds out about my little secret.
