Enclosed pool AC

I’ve learned a few things since getting together with my hubby that have been important for the rest of my life; He’s absolutely talented when it comes to playing it cool and keeping a level head, and sometimes I need her help with that skill.

  • She also has some unique knowledge thanks to her background growing up on a little island in Florida – and she never lets me forget it.

I truly had a unusual upbringing, since I was born and raised in the deep midwestern section of the country! As such, she is the partner with knowledge of boats, oceans, and how to stay cool all Summer long. That’s why he’s the one taking the reins on this most recent condo renovation project together – adding air conditioner to our enclosed backyard pool. About six months ago my friend and I installed an inground pool to our new condo so my friend and I could passively cool off during warm afternoons. As the weather began to change, however, my friend and I realized that the pool would be far more functional if my friend and I enclosed the space around it. My friend and I put in four walls and called it a day, separate from considering the effects of enclosing such a humid space. All of the water is evaporated into the air during the warm Summer nights, so there is continual condensation buildup on the walls and windows. This humidity and heat obviously flames the proliferation of mildew and mold, so now my friend and I have a new problem. As such, my girl is contacting Heating and A/C companies all over town for quotes to add A/C and dehumidification to the little outdoor building. So far it seems like my friend and I should be able to manage the airborne humidity for a adequate price – but my question is, why didn’t my bestie inherently know how warm air and humidity would affect our new pool room? Afterall, she is from Florida.
