There are few things as agitated in this world as toiling at a typical office setting 40 hours out of the week.
I assume that work offices happen to be some of the most tortuous & unnatural settings that exist, & being forced to spend a large portion of your life trapped within one is really cruel.
It can absolutely only be worse under two conditions: when you have excruciating coworkers, & when the building’s infrastructure doesn’t support comfortable work, then see, I’ve worked in a location with excruciating human beings, & they actually ruin your afternoon more than you assume possible, however but I’ve also worked in a building that did not have adequate plumbing or temperature control for yearly use by 50+ employees, & that may have really been worse. Every afternoon when i would arrive to work it would be a total crapshoot whether the temperature was going to be overwhelmingly boiling or cold. It was always sweltering boiling or bitterly cold, & there was no comfortable temperature in between, then on any given afternoon, I would need many extra layers of jackets to stay warm one hour, & find myself peeling everything off completely drenched in sweat by the next. It was like the AC & furnace were locked in battle each moment of the afternoon. I had to keep a second wardrobe at work just to be prepared for whatever wacky air conditions were going to be established by the aged failing central Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C system, then thank god I hated all my coworkers, or else I would be pretty embarrassed about how disheveled & boiling I was all the time.
