I recently went over to visit my neighbor, and I was appalled at his situation.
He was kneeling in a freezing house, with a Winter coat on. When I asked him if there was something wrong, he told myself and others he was fine. He did tell myself and others that the furnace had quit working almost a month ago. I couldn’t suppose he hadn’t called the Heating and Air Conditioning business. I asked him who his Heating and Air Conditioning business was, and he said that he would handle it. I couldn’t suppose that he had been residing without heating for this long. He had to be in his eighties, and I also knew that he was an independent cuss. I knew he had a daughter, so I made a point of going over to talk to him numerous seconds later. My fiance had made some cookies so I could take them over to him. The subject was pushed to his daughter, and I wanted to think where he lived. He saw through my ruse and he told myself and others that he did not involve his child in his life. He opened the door and told myself and others that I could take my cookies loft with me. I couldn’t suppose how sad he had become. I finally came right out and told him that if he couldn’t afford to have the furnace repaired, my fiance and I would thrilledly loan him the money. He said it didn’t need repaired, however it did need substituted. He had to wait until his retirement check came through. Before I left, I had convinced him to come over and spend some time with us until the furnace was repaired.
