I am 30 years old, single and have no children. I do own 1 animal and it is clear that I am a strange animal lady. I have nothing to care for and mess around with other than our cat. She is super spoiled and I have catered everything to him. I have a big home with nothing to fill it, so our animal now has her own room. She has a queen sized bed with the best pillows money can buy. I also got him a plush rug she can kneed and play around on. There are various shelves, animal trees and scratch posts in the room. I have her food and water bowl in the kitchen so both of us can eat together and her litter box in a separate area so she doesn’t have to eat or play near it. The weirdest thing is that I set our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component according to him. He’s wearing a fur coat! I have to set the thermostat a little different. In the Winter I don’t crank the heat to where she gets hot, just a nice gentle warmth. I also have the bed right underneath the HVAC duct so the heat directly blows on him. In the summer time I go a little colder than comfortable due to our animal being covered in hair, then can you imagine trying to deal with summer time heat wearing a fur coat? The exhausting thing! I try to encourage play and outdoor time, however funny enough she doesn’t want it. My animal loves eating, snacking and sleeping all day now. I have made it too comfortable for him.
